Senex led the launch of the Cooper Medivac 24 night-vision capable helicopter in the Cooper Basin in 2014.  The first of its kind in Australia, this initiative reflects our commitment to the safety and wellbeing of workers, residents and visitors to this remote area of Australia. Read more 


Senex has proudly held a corporate sponsorship with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Central Operations since 2013. In 2017, Senex committed to a further three years to the RFDS. The continued investment in Senex’s own safety initiatives and the RFDS not only provides world-class medical care to landholders and its remote workforce in an emergency, but a better-equipped Flying Doctor benefits the entire community. Senex was pleased to become a founding member of the Onshore Petroleum Centre of Excellence (OPCE) in June 2014. This South Australian Government initiative is designed to establish a state-of-the-art training hub at the refurbished TafeSA Tonsley Centre in Adelaide. Read more
